This weekend Veja revealed that the Brazilian Central Bank tried to sue economist Alex Schwartsman -- a former CB diretor -- for his critics against the way monetary policy has been conducted of late.
Are we living in a semi-dictatorship??? Cant we criticize the government anymore???
And why the heck doesnt the CB sue these PSOL guys saying it is favoring the Bankers by keeping rates "so high"? This is a serious accusation about its probity, is it not?
The CB would do us a lot of good if instead it focused on reducing the inflation rate to 4,5%, its supposed target.
Jesus, man, I am going back to Brazil. Fighting PT has become the most important battle of the 21 century.
